Hello Braid Babes!

    Hey braid babes! My name is Jayme, also known on Instagram as Braidsbyjaylaw, and I am excited to get to know you and make your braid vision come to life! My business name came to life because my first name is Jayme and my maiden name was Lawrence. Although I am married now, I kept “Jayme Lawrence”, or “JayLaw”, as my business name because that is how everyone knows me and it was a fun way to keep that chapter in my life alive.

I have always had a passion for beauty and hair but my passion for braiding came about when I discovered Chrissy Rasmussen on YouTube. Her and her staff make fun and simple tutorials online and they taught me everything I know! Since I discovered her about 7 years ago, I have been practicing perfecting my braiding technique. I specialize in big, chunky braids to give each person that boho and elegant look.

My goal as a braid stylist is to give each person a relaxing experience, while keeping it affordable. As a former bride myself, I understand the importance of saving money where you can. That is why I offer a wide range of prices and styles. Although I love where I am at with my braiding business, my dream would be to own a salon one day with a braid bar section for styling and photos!
